Living in Hope
Women's Retreat at Gull Lake - November 1-3, 2024
(Registration Closes Soon - October 18 - Grab your spot!)
Come by yourself, with your mom or daughter, or with some friends and spend the weekend with us at Gull Lake Ministries Center. Enjoy the beautiful setting as we look at 1 &2 Thessalonians to explore the theme of Living in Hope.
Hope is a powerful force in our lives – but it is based on our expectations for the future. It influences our daily decisions and goals. It ultimately helps to shape our character. Yet, sometimes hope can seem frail when we are faced with our own or the world’s suffering and injustices. Is there a certain enough hope for our future that we find an anchor in the suffering?
Injustice, suffering, confusion, and some disruptive people within the church threatened the newly believing Thessalonians’ faith. Their confidence in their hope was at stake. Throughout the retreat weekend, you may consider the source of hope, what hope is shaping your goals, your character, and your daily choices.
